　　Chengdu Post & Telecommunications Equipment Factory(Whose former name was Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Meishan Communication Equipment Factory, that was the 505 Factory) is a company subjecting to China Putian Information Industry Group Company. For more than 30 years since the foundation of our company, the carrier wave communication equipment and fiber data communication equipment manufactured by our company has been used all over the country, which has contributed to the development of national communication undertaking.

　　The former of our company was Telecom Head Office 505 Factory, founded in 1965. Its name was changed to Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications Meishan Communication Equipment Factory in 1981. After the combination of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in 1998, its name has been changed to Chengdu Posts and Telecommunications Equipment Factory. Our company has 10 manufacturing and operation units, a product research center, a product development center, 3 joint ventures and 3 branches with more than 3,000 employees, of whom more than 1,000 are professional technicians of different levels.

　　The capacity of manufacturing communication equipment and conveyance equipment is in the leading position in China. Our company mainly products: transfers and tie-in series equipments, fiber TV (CATV) series equipments, wiring and part wire series equipments, network series equipments, passive optical component, electrical component and PVC communication ripple pipe and plastic steel doors and windows with 8 catagories. Some of them have obtained excellent product award confirmed by National and Original Post And Telecommunications Department and have been ranked in the list of national key new product and Sichuan Provincial Famous Product. The products of our company have been covered most of provinces, cities and districts all over the country. The PDH synchronization fiber data communication transfers equipment of our company has joint the bid of national 22 lines fiber main communication engineering during "The 8th Five-Year Plan". We have won the bid and finished the equipment manufacture and engineering dredge of five main engineering of "Jing Han Guang" and 565MB/S dilatancy main engineering of "Jing--Hu", which has been the pioneer of equiping national grade I mains with domestic optical communication equipments.
